Šibenik is located 47km northwest from Marina. The area is well connected and it takes less then an hour to get there by car.

In history, it was first mentioned in 1066 as a town where the Croatian king Krešimir resided. Šibenik is the oldest native Croatian town on the Adriatic coast.
Šibenik offers many historical monuments such as the Cathedral of St. James which is on UNESCO’s World heritage list. Other sites include St. Nicholas Fortress, Šubićevac Fortress and many more.
